Executive Director, Staci Almager Dear Friends of Transplants for Children,
My immediate goals include helping Transplant for Children become a better known non-profit in the San Antonio community. Through grassroots efforts including helping our families gain resources and opportunities to tell their individual stories in their communities, the vision of growth for our organization is profound. The Transplants for Children vision of "Helping Families Live Life" will continue to be the forefront of our mission and work. It is my greatest honor to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of Transplants for Children. I understand the challenges faced by the families in which we serve because our family is one of them. My husband donated his kidney to our daughter in January 2010. I am deeply dedicated to Transplants for Children and aspire to utilize my business acumen gained in the past 15 years in the corporate environment helping Transplants for Children achieve new heights of success. I recognize there will be challenges and appreciate the continued support of each of you as we evolve and grow to serve a larger population of transplant families.
